Following a successful trial season, we’re carrying on together: From the 2026/27 season onwards, the Skiliftkarussell Winterberg, the Skiliftkarussell Altastenberg, the Skiliftkarussell Postwiese, Sahnehang and Ruhrquelle will together form the Skiliftkarussell Winterberg network.
One ticket, one ski area, 46 lifts and 22 huts – all connected by the ski bus.
Preparations for the winter are already in full swing. We expect to kick off the season with the first slopes open in late November or early December.
Advance ticket sales are underway, and season tickets are already available. We look forward to enjoying the winter with you!

Floodlit skiing

Skiing is a skill that needs to be learnt. The ski schools at the Skiliftkarussell Winterberg, the Skiliftkarussell Altastenberg and the Skiliftkarussell Postwiese offer courses for children, adults and advanced skiers.

Your day’s skiing at the SkiliftkarussellCarving down wide runs in the morning, family time at Kinderland at lunchtime, and a few more turns under floodlit skiing in the evening. At the Skiliftkarussell Winterberg, the choice is yours: bustling slopes, a village atmosphere, or manageable slopes for a relaxed start. Each area has its own character. You can hop on the ski bus to move easily between Winterberg, Altastenberg and the Postwiese.

Skiliftkarussell Winterberg
From leisurely to adrenaline-fuelled: Winterberg’s 34 runs offer plenty of variety for your day’s skiing. Modern ski lifts whisk you back up to the top in no time, and there’s also floodlit skiing, tobogganing and numerous mountain huts right within the ski area.
Skiliftkarussell Postwiese
Skiing & fun right in the heart of Neuastenberg: 13 runs combined with a Funpark, Funslope and tobogganing. The Funpark, in particular, makes the Postwiese a popular spot for freeskiers and snowboarders.

The Waldschneise at Kappe is a good 1,500 metres long – a blue run from the Panoramabahn mountain station down to the Kappe valley station.
Half-day tickets (morning and afternoon) are valid exclusively on the Skiliftkarussell, except on toboggan lift no. 20. The Winterberg+ Card (1- and 2-day tickets) is valid not only on the Skiliftkarussell Winterberg but also in Neu- and Altastenberg, Sahnehang and Ruhrquelle. Passes valid for three days or more can also be used as a Wintersport-Arena CARD. They are valid in seven ski resorts within the Wintersport-Arena Sauerland that are part of the ticket network. Separate tickets for toboggan lifts are available from the ticket offices at those lifts.
Tickets purchased at the Skiliftkarussell itself are valid, as are the Skiliftkarussell+ Card (1–2 days) and the Wintersport-Arena CARD (3–7 days). Other tickets from neighbouring ski areas are not valid. In addition to the Skiliftkarussell Winterberg, the Skiliftkarussell+ Card ticket network also includes the Postwiesen ski area in Neuastenberg, the Sahnehang, the Skiliftkarussell Altastenberg and the Ruhrquelle ski area. In addition to those already mentioned, the Wintersport-Arena ticket network also includes the Willingen ski resort and the Bödefeld-Hunau ski resort.
Yes, because day or afternoon tickets are only valid until 4.30 pm. Floodlit skiing is available from 6.30 pm to 10 pm. Different tickets apply during this time. You can buy them at the lift ticket offices.
